It’s a sad day for music.

Four Tops lead singer Levi Stubbs has passed away.

He died Friday in Michigan.

Stubbs was 72-years old.

Levi had been in ill health since being diagnosed with cancer in 1995. A stroke and other health problems led him to stop touring in 2000.

Of the original Four Tops members, only one survives – Abdul “Duke” Fakir.

Our thoughts are with Mr. Stubbs’ family.
