Five down, one to go.
X Factor may seem like it’s already had a revolving door of celebrity judges over the past 12 years, but things have never been as bad as they are right now!
That’s because it was just announced that Rita Ora has officially quit the singing competition, making her the fifth casualty of the year… and Series 13 hasn’t even started airing yet!

The singer — who is totally not Becky with the Good Hair — apparently followed fellow judges Nick Grimshaw and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, as well as cohosts Olly Murs and Caroline Flack, out the door, leaving just Simon Cowell and the recently returned Dermot O’Leary as the faces of the show.
Rita shared her decision in a heartfelt message to fans on Twitter late Monday night, saying:
I had a ball on @TheXFactor last year and will miss the team.

@simoncowell can’t wait to work with you again… I’ll be round for dinner soon. Thank you for the experience & love X

What’s most interesting about Rita’s news is that she’s already taped a few audition episodes, so it seems as though her exit is quite sudden.
Although, we wouldn’t be surprised if Rita and the rest of the group were forced out as part of itv‘s rebranding for the series…
Who do U want to see on the judge’s panel when X Factor premieres this August??
