Sorry Bughead, but Riverdale fans have set sail to a new ship after last night’s episode!
A bunch of shit went down in the latest hour of the teen soap, but really the only moment that matters is when queen bee Cheryl Bombshell AKA Cheryl Blossom (Madelaine Petsch) shared a BIG secret about herself to Southside Serpent Toni Topaz (Vanessa Morgan).
After the two go to see the upcoming coming of age film Love, Simon (blatant advertisement that we’ll forgive The CW for), Cheryl tells Toni how she relates to the film’s themes before making an emotional confession about her own sexuality.

In response, Toni (who has, by this point, made no secret she’s into girls) tells the usually thorny Cheryl that she’s “not loveless” but “sensational”; the two then share a moment that made every Riverdale fan’s head EXPLODE.
