On The Kyle and Jackie O Show, Robbie Williams proposed to his longtime girlfriend Ayda Field on Friday.
“Is there anyone you want to get married to? Will you marry me?” asked Robbie.
“Yes, I’ll marry you,” Ayda replied. “Where’s the ring?”
We like a girl who gets down to business!!!!
“I love you so much. Would you be my betrothed ’til the end of time?” continued Robbie, while he slipped a temporary ring on her finger.
LAME!!!
Despite the excitement and very public proposal, Robbie’s spokesman confirmed the pair are “definitely not engaged. He did propose but it was done in a very jocular way. Typical Robbie Williams.”
Well, that’s not what Robbie’s mom seems to think!!!
“He wanted to do something different,” said Jan, Robbie’s mother. “She’s a lovely girl and I’m really pleased for them. I’ve got a daughter-in-law.”
She also claims that the news was “no surprise” as he has been planning this for some time!
