Robert Downey Jr. Almost Adopts His Co-Star!

LOL!

It looks like Robbie made a new friend during filming of the movie Due Date, Sunny, the French Bulldog who starred with him in the film.

In the movie, Robert had to hate the pup, however during takes he would put her in his lap and sit with her. Looks like they had a special bond.

He actually asked about adopting the now 2-year-old pooch, but her breeder insisted on getting Sunny back.

Awwww!

This type of bond is unusual to form with actors and the animals on set, since they are often only handled by trainers. However this movie called for Sunny to be with Robert and his co-star Zack Galifinakis at all points in time.

We hope Robert can find another puppy he loves as much as Sunny!
