Casting dramz!
While there’s a whole lotta chatter going on about Charlie Hunnam being cast as Christian Grey in 50 Shades of Grey, some new chatter is starting up!
And that new chatter is all about who was really wanted by E.L. James for the film…
…and it was someone very familiar with starring in a film franchise!
Bret Easton Ellis took to Twitter to reveal some juicy deets he had found out about casting before the beans spilled:
Talked to E.L. James at a party over the summer: her first choice for Christian was Rob Pattinson and Matt Bomer was never in the running.

We can certainly imagine Robert Pattinson tying us up for a good spanking! LOLz!
Considering he is still pretty freakin’ well known for Twilight, we can imagine why he wouldn’t want to sign up for another franchise.
But we still do refuse to believe Ian Somerhalder was never in consideration. C’mon have you SEEN him?!
