Now we know why he was pickin’ his nose so much!

Robert Pattinson had to make sure none of his golden nuggets would fall on Mia Wasikowska during the filming of Maps to the Stars! Cuz the filming just got WAY hot — like hotter than NYC summer HOT!!

The actors had to film this scene in three different angles, so you can bet they swapped a whole ‘lotta spit Wednesday! Hmm… wonder if she called him R-Patz during any of that?

Totally would have killed the mood! 😉
