This is so incredibly sad.
After a long and – in the past few months, especially tumultuous – battle with cancer, Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees has passed away at the age of 62.
According to a statement from his family:
“The family of Robin Gibb, of the Bee Gees, announce with great sadness that Robin passed away today following his long battle with cancer and intestinal surgery. The family have asked that their privacy is respected at this very difficult time.”
And it sounded as though his health was just starting to turn around.
After all the suffering he endured, we’re at least comforted to know that he’s now in a better place.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, loved ones, and fans during this impossibly difficult time.
