Unfortunately, it seems that actions always have consequences – even if the initial action was effing HIGHlarious!
Roots drummer Questlove caused a bit of controversy for Late Night With Jimmy Fallon when he chose to play Fishbone‘s Lyin’ Ass Bitch during Michele Bachmann‘s walk-on song, and apparently now, he’s being forced to clear every song choice with three NBC executives!
Fallon explains:
“It was a real bummer. We don├óΓé¼Γäót want to censor anyone, but ├óΓé¼┬ª I don├óΓé¼Γäót know. Maybe Questlove is a Romney guy.”
However, this apparently isn’t the first time Questlove has been censored! Fallon himself reportedly had to put the nix on him playing She Blinded Me With Science when Katie Holmes was a guest!
Ugh! No fun!
As far as we’re concerned, Questlove has one helluva sense of humor, and we’d love to him to keep it up!
