Of COURSE Fox News Is Defending Roseanne Barr's Racist Planet Of The Apes Comment As Free Speech

Everyone in their right mind is loving that ABC stepped up to the plate and canceled Roseanne after its series star tweeted a repugnantly racist joke about Valerie Jarrett.
Those in their right-wing mind, however, are less than impressed — and say that Roseanne Barr is the poor victim of anti-free speech!
Take it from Fox News host Harris Faulkner, who defended the comedian on Tuesday, saying it was her right to liken the former Obama administration adviser to The Planet of the Apes.

Arguing that Ro-ro’s racist tweet was merely a “miscalculated joke,” the Outnumbered Overtime correspondent said:

“I don’t understand it to be anything other than free speech. It is extremely offensive but it is just that. She says in one of her tweets, there were three rapid-fire today, where she says, ├óΓé¼╦£Well, it was a joke. It was a miscalculated joke.'”

Republican strategist Noelle Nikpour agreed, adding:

“She is a comedian. She does have a very wicked, twisted sense of humor. Everybody knows her to be a little raunchy and a little rough.”

Uh… raunchy is Amy Schumer talking about giving/receiving oral sex.
Roseanne’s vile comment was something a racist grandma would say before being wheeled out of the room because she’s embarrassing the family in front of dinner guests.
That embarrassed family, dear Fox Newshitstains, is ABC. Roseanne wasn’t censored for supporting Trump or a different view, but instead for comparing a black woman to an ape like some Breitbart troll.
That’s not a joke — that’s a malicious statement targeting someone’s race.
Roseanne has since apologized for her joke and announced she was leaving Twitter.
She may be out of a job now, but we can think of one like-minded network deplorable enough to scoop up these spoiled goods.
