Say it ain’t so Ro!
Back in August, reports were swirling around that Rosie O’Donnell was having some marital problems with her longtime partner Kelli Carpenter-O’Donnell.
Well, Rosie’s people were quick to call bullshit on the rumors and stated that the two were still together and that the reports were just “rumors.”
But a few weeks later Rosie took to her personal blog and commented that “marriage is hard i told him. when u r married 12 years. lemme know how it goes. it aint easy. and thats my comment. thats all i got for u. its not a movie. or a sound bite for tv. its real life. just like urs. a family figuring it out. and on we go.”
And now the “rumors” are back, but this time Rosie is confirming that the two are having issues.
In a recent interview with USA Today, Rosie reveals:
“We’re a family. We will remain a family forever. And we are working on our issues. We’re a family, we remain a family and we’re working on the issues.
Kelli and I love each other very much and we are working on our issues. Those are the only words I am ever going to say. Ever. And that is something that has been agreed upon by all parties.
But everything’s fine and everybody’s good and we’re still both raising them together. We will both continue to parent them and we’re friendly and everything’s all right.”
And although Rosie wouldn’t confirm that Kelli moved out of their Nyack, NY home, the reporter did note that Kelli wasn’t present at the house during the interview.
Ro and Kelly have been married since 2004 and have four kids. Let’s hope they work this all out peacefully.
