…which ended in another paparazzo altercation!
Before his nuptials with Katy Perry, Russell Brand took some friends (minus Katy) on a tiger safari in India.
While the trip looked liked a fun and peaceful adventure, things got out of hand when Russell’s bodyguards confronted a group of photographers who were following Russell and his guests and shooting the entire safari.
Vivek Bhargav, who accompanied Rusell and his pals on their safari voyage, saw the the whole thing go down. He said:
“Russell was excited watching the animals. He clicked a few pictures and also saw a male tiger inside the park. Some people were following Russell’s vehicle, however, the moment his bodyguards saw the media chasing Russell, the vehicle immediately got diverted…the media vehicle was stopped by forest security officials.
We could see the media chasing Russell’s car from the entrance, after which we changed our route and took a diversion towards route number 3. The paparazzi refused to listen to anyone and they started arguing with the bodyguards. One of the bodyguards and a member of the paparazzi got injured. Keys were snatched by the security officer and that’s when the fight started.”
The photographers filed a complaint against Russell and his photographers and sources say he will be questioned at his hotel – on his wedding day!
Grrr! We’d be mad too!
Let’s just hope things go smoother on the big day.
