Somehow we’re thinking people are going to have mixed feelings about this one.
In Warner Bros’ 1978 version of Superman, Marlon Brando played the father of the man of steel.
Now, Russell Crowe is in talks for the same role in Zack Snyder’s upcoming Superman movie.
As we mentioned back in March, Kevin Costner has been cast as Jonathan Kent, the man who acts as the HUMAN father to Superman/Clark Kent.
We definitely approve of the Field of Dreams star as Mr. Kent…but we’re not 100% sure how we feel about Russell as Jor-El. MAYBE it could work?
