Russia's Recently Captured Orcas Won't Go To Sochi After All, But Where They're Going Isn't Much Better!

We previously mentioned that Russian hunters had captured two wild orcas and they were going to be put on display during the Sochi Winter Games.
We also mentioned how freakin’ awful that is and how was can’t believe people are still treating whales this way.
Hasn’t anyone in Russia seen Blackfish!?!
Well, apparently, they have. Or they have a heart at least, because it’s reported that the orcas will NOT be on display during the Olympics!!
Hooray! The whales can go free now… right?
WRONG. The orcas were shipped to Moscow and instead of being shuttled over to Sochi, they’re going to just stay in Moscow.
Seeing as how Moscow isn’t the ocean, we’re still not too happy.
Also there’s the fact that the aquarium is “still in the process of being built,” according to a whale conservationist with some inside knowledge.
We’re glad they’re not going to the Games but we wish they’d just RELEASE THOSE MAJESTIC CREATURES!
