A Rutgers football player after smashing into another player during a kickoff is paralyzed from the neck down.
Eric LeGrand, a junior at Rutgers had collapsed after the collision, it wasn’t until Sunday, after an emergency surgery on Saturday night that they found out he was paralyzed.
Eric, who his coach says is “a special guy and a guy who really loves to play the game,├óΓé¼┬¥ was is as good spirits as he could be. He knew what was going on and knew who was around him.
Rutgers ended up winning the game in overtime, and his teammates won’t give up on him!
His coach said, “we’re going to believe. Eric LeGrand is going to walk onto that field with us. That’s what we believe.”
We hope so too. We send good wishes your way!!
