Ahh! Our poor Ryan Gosling! Who would do such a thing?
New images of the seksi actor’s next collaboration with Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn have been released and RyGos looks a little beaten up.
This must be the aftermath of the scene we spotted him filming in Thailand earlier this year, in which his face gets beaten to a bloody pulp.
Don’t worry though, he doesn’t take the beating lying down. Much like his character in Drive, Gosling’s character in Only God Forgives is a lethal weapon.
Described as “a Western set in the Far East,” the film follows a man who has been living in exile in Bangkok after killing a cop 10 years ago. He manages a Thai boxing club as a front for a drugs operation, but his life turns violent again when his brother is killed for murdering a hooker. When his mom arrives in the Asian country to collect her son’s dead body, she tells RyGos to “raise hell” and get revenge.
It’s not a sequel to Drive, but we’re not going to lie, it sounds like it will be just as good, if not even better!
