He and his awesome abs gave an interview too, that went a little something like this:
On how competing in Beijing changed him:
“After Beijing, I said, ├óΓé¼╦£Enough is enough.├óΓé¼Γäó I don├óΓé¼Γäót like losing. I started doing things differently than I├óΓé¼Γäód done in the past. Instead of having one or two practices back to back that were great, I was having weeks and weeks that were really great.”
On swimming not dictating his life:
“Swimming doesn├óΓé¼Γäót define who I am. I├óΓé¼Γäóm not going to give up anything for it. I├óΓé¼Γäóm still going to be exactly who I am and have fun with life. There├óΓé¼Γäós a lot of swimmers out there who make swimming their life, but for me, it├óΓé¼Γäós just a sport that I do.”
On not shying away from risky activities:
“Something could go wrong driving to practice. I could get hurt in a million ways. You have to take that chance.”
On how his life is not going to be defined by what happens in London:
“I could get one medal or 20, and I├óΓé¼Γäóll be happy.”
He seems like such a cool guy!
