Ryan McCartan Reveals How He's Really Doing Post Split From (Now Ex) Fiancée Dove Cameron!

Ryan McCartan is keeping his head up following his split from (now ex) fiancée Dove Cameron.
As you may recall, earlier this month Ryan confirmed that he and his fellow Disney darling had ended their relationship. Many thought it would take a while for the Glowing in the Dark singer to move on from his heartbreak, especially since it was Miz Cameron who pulled the plug on their romance.
Nonetheless, McCartan seemed to be in high spirits on Thursday as he attended the red carpet premiere for his latest project, The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let’s Do the Time Warp Again. AH-Mazing!

When pressed about his highly publicized breakup, the 23-year-old explained:

“I’m good. I love her to death. There’s a lot of love there. You know, she made a decision that├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥because I love her├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥I have to respect.”

Sniff. In fact, Ryan is hoping Dove is thinking about him as the premiere for TRHPS draws closer. He continued:

“She was there for me while we were filming this movie├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥we were still together├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥so I hope she’s feeling this energy right now, because it’s all happening. Here we are!”

Nice spin, buddy! And for fans who are nervous about the reboot ruining the original film, McCartan vowed:

“It’s the exact same script. Every ‘t’ crossed, every ‘i’ dotted. I mean, it’s literally the exact same script. The characters and the story and what it represents, all of that is still in tact. But it’s a brand new cast of characters and it’s 41 years later, so you’re going to see improved technology, better camera work, better special effects, better costuming with William Ivey Long, a wardrobe legend. You’re going to see people who have been a fan of this since its inception.”

Oooh, we’re so excited! We’re specifically pumped to see the chemistry between Ryan and Victoria Justice blossom on screen as the up-and-comer couldn’t help but gush about his leading lady. He added:

“I love her to death. The camera loves her. She’s obviously insanely talented. She’s just so welcoming and warm. We got along right away, and I think that we did the Brad and Janet story justice├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥no pun intended. It was just incredible to work with her. I remember distinctly├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥and I’ll never forget it├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥on the car ride home from our last day of shooting, I felt myself sort of getting emotional. I turned around and I was like, ‘You will always be the Janet to my Brad.’ It’s a beautiful thing. I’ll always cherish the memories from the set.”

That’s so sweet. We have a feeling fans aren’t going to be able to stop shipping these two.
