Following girlfriend Lea Michele‘s statement, Ryan Murphy has now stepped up to publicly announce that he stands by Cory Monteith after the Glee star entered rehab yesterday.
Ryan tweeted:
I am so proud of Cory Monteith and love and support him 100%.

With that said, it is pretty clear that Ryan doesn’t really care that Cory won’t be able to finish up the season.
It is very admirable and strong that Cory voluntarily admitted himself, especially considering there wasn’t a HINT of drug-addled antics that forced the decision.
With so many wonderful people for him to lean on, we’re VERY hopeful this will be a successful recovery.
We’re rooting for you, Cory!!!!
