Although Redmond O’Neal‘s doctors had explicitly banned his father, Ryan, from having any contact with his son, the actor apparently went against their orders and visited him at the West El Lay rehab facility, where he is currently undergoing a treatment program in light of his latest arrest for heroin possession!
According to sources:
“Ryan was allowed to visit, against Redmond├óΓé¼Γäós doctor├óΓé¼Γäós orders, as it was thought the visit would be beneficial to Redmond. Rehab might not be the best fit for Redmond. Rehab is not jail, and there are concerns about the lack of security where he is now. It’s not regimented and is run much more loosely than a prison would be. Redmond needs a very strict and secure environment, the last thing he needs is someone sneaking drugs into him. [Those close to Redmond are] extremely concerned for him. Redmond doesn’t grasp that his addiction to heroin could kill him.├óΓé¼┬¥
So sad.
It seems like there’s been a lot of disregard in the past for what this young man actually needs to get better, and we sincerely hope that everyone can remain committed to doing whatever they have to, regardless of how difficult it is, so he can get better from now on.
We don’t want anymore tragedy to strike this family.
