Ryan Reynolds Wasn't Hinting At Blake Lively Drama In Sour Social Media Post -- It Was About A DIFFERENT Problem!

Ryan Reynolds Sad Deadpool Post Not About Blake Lively Legal Drama

This fam is going through some drama for Christmas!

After Blake Lively sued It Ends With Us director Justin Baldoni for alleged sexual harassment and, per the complaint, launching a smear campaign against her, we quickly heard it had affected her hubby, too.

It makes sense Ryan Reynolds would be hurt by the viral attacks on Blake. Not just because married couples share a heart but also because it really does spill over and hurt his reputation. And you know what? We have noticed a lot of hate directed his way lately…

So when he dropped his first post on social media since all this broke, and there were hints at feeling bad… We naturally assumed it was about that!

See, on Monday he reposted the charity video in which he and 8-year-old daughter Inez — as Deadpool and Kidpool — ask for donations to the SickKids Foundation.

Only this time he added some commentary that led everyone to believe he was feeling terrible! He wrote:

“It’s almost Christmas Eve. Last day to donate to [SickKids Foundation]. Thank you [Bryan Rowland] for directing this amazing little piece during a time I really didn’t feel like putting the suit on. Thank you [Lynda Carter] for your time, grace and talent. Thank you to my daughter for being such a good person despite your dad asking you to swear (for a good cause).”

Ryan Reynolds Breaks His Silence After Blake Lively’s Bombshell Lawsuit Against IEWU Co-Star Justin Baldoni

He “really didn’t feel like putting the suit on”?? Damn, he must be feeling terrible, right? Well…

It turns out Ryan’s discomfort may have had nothing to do with legal drama, reputations, or even emotional distress. According to a source close to the Adam Project star, it’s actually about… his personal fitness!

The insider told TMZ the star has to get into a certain physical shape to fit into the tight superhero costume. That means a lot more training than usual — and probably a lot more than the holidays! All that work wasn’t exactly what Ryan was in the mood for, says the source — but he did it anyway because he really believes in the nonprofit org, who he’s worked with for eight straight years now. Aw!

Hey, we can all relate to not feeling like we can fit in that killer outfit today! We just didn’t expect Ryan “abs for days” Reynolds to feel that way! Do YOU buy that’s all this was about?
