Truth bomb alert!
On Wednesday, Samuel L. Jackson re-revealed why he’s known for being so foul mouthed! In a recent interview on Howard Stern‘s radio show, The Hateful Eight actor shared that saying “motherf*cker” helps control his stutter.
Apparently, the 67-year-old was bullied quite a bit for his speech impediment as a kid. In fact, the harassment got so bad that the Pulp Fiction star stopped speaking for “almost a year in school.”

Aww! Poor guy. On his cure, he noted:
“I have no idea [how] but it just does. It clicks a switch that stops the d-d-d b-b-b, because me I stuttered really, really, really badly for a long time.”
Fierce! Still, it seems that swearing wasn’t the only answer to fixing his stutter. Samuel continued:
“I read a lot. I read things about breathing exercises, I actually went to the library to combat stuttering.”
Talk about being an inspiration! Regardless of his big triumph, the quotable A-lister still had to fight of haters for a while.
He concluded:
“Yeah I fought a bit. I could then [but] not anymore. I’m too old now.”
HA! Keep doing you man, know that we think you’re totally killing it!
