Slide in them DMs!
Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams‘ love story started all thanks to direct messaging on Twitter. During her Tuesday night appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the Modern Family actress revealed that she and the radio DJ started flirting via the social media site amid Wells’ bartender stint on Bachelor In Paradise.

The industry vet quipped:
“Have you seen those memes of ├óΓé¼╦£Slide into the DMs?’ That. He slid into my DMs.”
While we credit Adams for being bold enough to reach out, Sarah HAD ALREADY declared her feelings for the 33-year-old when he was a contestant on JoJo Fletcher‘s season of The Bachelorette. She continued:
“I was following him. We had tweeted each other because I thought he was funny and he was a fan of the show. I saw him as the bartender and I was like, ‘That’s really cute.’ “
LOVES it. In regards to Wells’ opening move, Sarah recalled:
“I was single, obviously, and was like, ├óΓé¼╦£This is really awesome. You’re being very forward and it’s sexy and not aggressive but very confident and sexy,’ and I liked that.”
Same, girl. Same. Per Miz Hyland, Wells wrote:
“‘Next time I’m in LA, I’m taking you out for drinks and tacos.'”
SO. SMOOTH. Since this line, “tacos and tequila” have become their “thing.” They are just the cutest.
