There just might be a bit of hope for Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans yet!
In a recent interview, former vampire killer Sarah Michelle Gellar opened up about the likelihood of adapting her hit, 90├óΓé¼Γäós cult TV show to the big screen — and though nothing is in the works at the moment, it is a distant possibility.
Though Sarah joked that “the stake would be my walker and I would be hobbling in,” she revealed:
“Joss [Whedon] and I always talk about [a movie]. But the thing with Buffy is that Buffy was a movie, and it ultimately didn’t work as a film. And I mean, we had such miles to overcome when we were trying to do a TV show based on a movie. And one of the reasons is that the story works better over time.”
But don’t fret just yet, you guyzzz! The actress did say that if everything fell into place, she wouldn├óΓé¼Γäót be opposed to filming:
“If there was ever the right story, we would do it.”
Yep, that’s right, Perezcious readers. Fans could ONE DAY be reunited with Buffy, Willow, Xander and the rest of the evil-fighting bunch!
Thanks, Veronica Mars Kickstarter!
