From The Brave Little Toaster to Toy Story to Cars, we’re all familiar with animated films that center around a group of self aware objects living in a human dominated world.
But in the first R-rated CG animated movie Sausage Party, this familiar Pixar-esque concept gets a disturbing twist following a ground of food items trying to avoid being brutally dismembered to be used as ingredients in dinner!
And if the hilariously dark concept isn’t enough to stimulate your appetite, the film stars Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd, Kristen Wiig, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Edward Norton, and Michael Cera!

In the first trailer, we follow a group of food items from a grocery store who discover the truth about their existence — and learn that they’re doomed to be skinned, picked apart, and violently consumed by humans! Yikes!
