Scarlett Johansson Defends Never Taking Photos With Fans! What Do U Think??

Scarlett Johannsson is not changing her mind about this one policy any time soon!

The Black Widow actress has long had a rule that she does not take pictures with fans! It’s a boundary she has set for herself, and that is something she is sticking with to protect her privacy! She explained in an interview with InStyle on Tuesday:

“The thing about being a public figure is that the idea of being recognizable and celebrated feels fun, but then you can never stuff it back in the bottle. The reality of it is, there’s a massive loss to that, you know? So I think preserving that for as long as possible until it’s someone’s choice, that’s the choice I make as far as my kids go. I want to go and buy my own shit at Duane Reade.”

This doesn’t mean ScarJo has zero appreciation for her fans! She does! However, when she’s not working, she doesn’t want to be hounded by other people:

“It really offends a lot of people. It doesn’t mean I’m not appreciative, of course, that people are fans, or happy to see me. But I always say to people, ‘I’m not working.’ [And that means] I don’t want to be identified as being in this time and place with you. I’m doing my own thing.”

That said, if she is at a work event, she doesn’t mind stopping to snap a few photos. She continued:

“I like to be in my own thoughts that have nothing to do with what other people think of me. I don’t like being self-conscious.”

We get it! Celebs are people like the rest of us and want to enjoy their own personal time! But we know there are some fans out there who won’t love this statement from Scarlett! So, what do YOU think, Perezcious readers? Sound OFF!
