Colin Jost had to do some DIRTY work to find Scarlett Johansson’s missing ring… But it did not end the way you’d expect!
For his new hosting gig on Pop Culture Jeopardy!, Colin has carried on the Alex Trebek tradition of telling the audience hilarious personal anecdotes. During a Season 1 episode, the Saturday Night Live star opened up about a hilarious mishap involving the Marvel superhero’s missing engagement ring… According to E! News, he told the audience:
“My wife actually lost her engagement ring.”

Oh goodness… We can only imagine the panic that washed over Scarlett in that moment — and consequently over Colin, too! The 42-year-old recalled the Jurassic World Rebirth star believing she “accidentally threw it in the trash,” so he had to do what any dutiful husband would… Go dumpster diving. And it took a LOOOOONG time. He explained:
“I looked through 12 dumpsters of trash.”
A dozen dumpsters?! Holy s**t! That’s a real dirty job! LOLz!
But get this… When Colin returned home he realized all his efforts were for nothing:
“I went back to the house and she said, ‘Oops! It was in my pocket.’ It was a great day for me.”
OMG! That’s foul! LOLz! It’s not clear when this happened, but if it was any time recently, maybe it was Scarlett’s revenge for all the jokes at her expense on the SNL Joke Swap! HA!
