Scarlett O'Hara's Wardrobe Saved!

This is great news!
Over 600 Gone With The Wind fans have rallied together to raise the $30,000 needed to repair five of the film’s iconic costumes worn by Vivienne Leigh.
The Harry Ransom Center in Texas will use the $30K to not only restore the dresses, but also purchase custom fitted mannequins and proper housing to display them.
Steve Wilson, a film curator, says “These generous donations confirm that the film’s legions of fans care.”
As we mentioned last month, the Harry Ransom Center hoped to raise the money before 2014, which is the 75th anniversary of Gone With The Wind.
