We are finally getting some answers about what went down between Scheana Shay and Raquel Leviss’ on the night of their heated confrontation over Scandoval!
As you most likely know by now, the 28-year-old obtained a temporary restraining order against Scheana after she claimed the 37-year-old punched her after finding out about her affair with Tom Sandoval earlier this month. Raquel claimed her Vanderpump Rules co-star “pushed” her against the wall and punched her, causing an injury to the back of her head, bruising to her left eye, giving her a cut on her left eyebrow, and more.

Scheana vehemently denied the accusations from Raquel, even accusing her of using the restraining order to sabotage the reunion since she was required to stay 100 yards away from her at the time. However, the former pageant queen insisted Scheana attacked her and gave her a “permanent scar” on her brow. Basically, there has been a lot of back and forth between the pair, leaving fans to question whether or not the Good as Gold singer actually hit Raquel over the news of her months-long affair with Sandoval behind Ariana Madix’s back. And now, it looks like Scheana is coming clean about what happened that night!
After the restraining order was officially dismissed on Wednesday, her attorney, Neama Rahmani, once again insisted the television personality did not punch Raquel. But the lawyer revealed that Scheana “did push” the SUR waitress outside of a bar in New York City on the night that she found out about the affair – only after Raquel had laid hands on her first:
“Scheana did push Raquel, but it was after Raquel grabbed her wrist. It was a reasonable force. It was necessary. I mean, look, Scheana is at best, maybe 5’5, [and] Raquel, [she’s] 5’10, she’s wearing heels. For Raquel to argue that Scheana could even punch her in the eye or cut her eyebrow, I mean, that’s just absolute inconsistent with the height differential and the size differential of these two women.”
So it sounds like Neama is claiming this was all an act of self-defense! He went on to blast Raquel for filing for a protective order based on a “gross exaggeration of what happened,” saying:
“Scheana did push Raquel off, but there was no concussion. I mean everything — the brain injury — everything that Raquel said was a gross exaggeration of what happened. And importantly, it’s not a basis for a restraining order. This isn’t a reality TV show. This is real life. This is something for actual victims of violence, domestic violence, workplace violence, elder abuse, child abuse. It’s not because two friends had an argument outside of a New York bar. So it’s really was a gross abuse of our system of justice. Raquel filing the police report, getting those medical records, filing the petition. I mean, it really, there’s real victims that need help.”
Damn! He did not hold back!
So is this the end of Raquel and Scheana’s legal battle? Possibly not! Neama told the outlet that there’s a chance the Scheananigans podcast host could sue her castmate for defamation, malicious prosecution, or abuse of process. But the attorney noted Scheana “doesn’t want anything to do with” Raquel right now. Nevertheless, he still plans to help out the songstress just as he’s done over the “past several weeks.”
