UPDATE: Sources tell us that Scooter posted this by mistake. “It was up for 60 seconds before he deleted it,” an insider reveals – adding that it was one of many reshares the manager did.
If Scooter Braun was really all about wanting what’s best for Taylor Swift and her music — like both his wife Yael Cohen Braun and client Justin Bieber so vocally contend — then what is THIS about?!
The manager to the stars — who is also the man at the head of the controversy surrounding his purchase of Swift’s music catalog — appears to have been caught in another alleged lie after he made (and quickly deleted!) an Instagram Stories post on Sunday in which there is open bragging about buying Swift. Yucky!!!

A shrewd social media user pointed out how, early on Sunday morning, Braun shared to his IG Stories a post about “buying Taylor Swift,” after a buddy of his — Dave Grutman, a nightclub owner — publicly celebrated Braun’s purchase of Big Machine Label Group with the caption, “WHEN YOUR FRIEND BUYS TAYLOR SWIFT!!! @scooterbraun.”
The offending post, which was very quickly deleted off Braun’s social media, looked something like this before it disappeared (below):

Wow!!! That’s NOT a small thing!!
And you know what? That woman on Twitter pointing out the problems here is dead-on with her analysis! Braun can’t act like he’s the good guy in all this while sharing in celebratory boasts over “buying” artists — especially those that don’t want to work with him, or be associated with him in any way! Disgusting!!
The 38-year-old Braun has been feigning innocence about how strongly Swift felt about him, instead letting people like his wife, Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, and even Hailey Bieber try to win the public relations battle against Swift. He’s been facing severe backlash, however, as the hashtag #WeStandWithTaylor trended for much of Sunday, and celebs like Halsey and the girls from Haim came out firmly in support of the 29-year-old pop star.

As social media continues to line up behind Taylor, and public opinion is firmly against Braun over his seemingly manipulative tactics and shady business dealings, one has to wonder how much longer he can stomach this — and whether it might be worth it to just sell Taylor back her old music!
What do U think about all of this drama, Perezcious readers?? Are you #TeamTaylor, or do you see nothing wrong with Braun’s big-time acquisition???
