On Thursday, People spoke to a source who dished on some of the sweetest deets about the popped question! The insider explained how Benny’s engagement push included a purposeful addition of Gomez’s favorite meal from Taco Bell — which you can make out on top of the picnic blanket in the second slide of the engagement reveal (below):
Plus, there were a bunch of sweet little moments, too! The source said:
“It was very her. It was a total surprise to Selena.”
Awww!
And after the actual engagement itself, Benny also quickly put together what the source described as an “impromptu gathering” of Selly G’s friend and family to celebrate! Smart to have loved ones on hand to forever memorialize the moment after it occurred!
The insider revealed:
“Benny and Selena were so excited to share the news right away with their loved ones. It’s such a true partnership between them.”
