Seriously! It IS about time!
After a delusional stalker threatened to KILL Selena Gomez, a civil judge has finally granted her a three-year restraining order against the man who traveled from Illinois to try to meet her.
Thomas Brodnicki has been been ordered to stay away from Selena and cannot even attempt to contact her.
The 46-year-old man has a history of mental illness and told people that he had conversations with God about murdering her. He even admitted to his psychiatrist that he had made several visits to workplace to try to get to her.
Thank goodness, Judge William D. Stewart finally saw the light and granted the order. A previous judge had dropped the felony stalking charge against him because prosecutors didn’t provide enough argument that Brodnicki was a “serious threat” to Selena.
After Selena wrote in a declaration that she was in extreme fear, the judge said that she had reasonable cause to be granted the protective order.
Neither Selena nor Brodnicki were in court on Friday.
So scary! Bet she’s breathing a sigh of relief right now! This was a major victory for her. You can sleep in peace again, Selenita!
