There is no doubt in our minds that Selena Gomez is one of the most humble stars of Hollywood.
The starlet has stated before that she relies on her family and close friends to keep her grounded, but this move will definitely help her keep her feet on the ground.
When it comes to roles in films, Selenita reveals she’s pretty picky about the ones she chooses – for a good reason!
She opens up and admits she can’t just accept any role:
“Honestly, the reason why I take certain parts is not because I feel like I could just accept it. I want to be the person who earns it. I’ve auditioned for every movie I’ve been a part of, and I’ve wanted to genuinely feel like I earned it.”
That’s pretty incredible of her, especially with all her star power, we’re sure roles are being thrown at her left and right!

It’s definitely a good move on her part!
Selena continued to explain her reason, she said:
“I would rather be in a smaller part and learn from people like Bill [William H. Macy], Felicity [Huffman], and Billy [Crudup]. That makes me a better actress. Even though I feel like it can be uncomfortable sometimes, that’s honestly what’s going to make me grow.”
Such wise words from a young actress!
Aspiring actors and actresses should definitely look up to Selena in terms of her work ethic! She’s such an inspiring and great role model!
