‘F**k Off!' Selena Gomez Is SO REAL Sometimes!

Selena Gomez is speaking her mind!

At a Women in Film dinner, which in Beverly Hills on Thursday night, the Only Murders in the Building star was seen clapping back at haters who have belittled her for sharing her struggles publicly. In a viral clip posted on X (Twitter), the actress could be seen in a white t-shirt and black blazer sitting at a large table beside her 11-year-old sister, Gracie, saying:

“I truly believe that there is power in being vulnerable and telling people when you need help and when you want help. That is not shameful. So yeah, I shared that I can’t carry a child. Yeah, I shared I have bipolar. F**k off!”

YESSS!!! Preach it!

She got a round of applause as she continued to drive home her point:

“That’s what my life is. That’s who I am. I only want to be an advocate for women and that’s why I share, that’s why I like to be honest, because everyone is going through something. I don’t have it all put together… I’m me and that’s all I can be.”

Yes, girl! Such an important message!

The Love You Like a Love Song singer then turned to her lil sis and another diner, reminding them:

“Do not ever let anyone tell you that you are not a good person or that you aren’t kind. That you will treat people with respect, cause that’s not lame. That is so cool, you guys, and that is the fact. So, screw anyone who tells you you’re a victim. You’re a survivor in my book.”

GO OFF!!!

So powerfully said, and this clearly came straight from the heart. Just hear how passionate she was about instilling this message in the other guests (below). It’s amazing!

As Perezcious readers may know, in a Vanity Fair cover story out earlier this month, Benny Blanco‘s girlfriend revealed she can’t carry her own children due to “medical issues.” She was diagnosed with lupus in 2013 and had a kidney transplant in 2017. As mentioned, the Disney Channel alum also went public with her bipolar disorder diagnosis in 2020, something she opened up about a ton in her mental health-focused documentary Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me two years later. So, she’s gone through a lot in life, but it sure as heck ain’t dragging her down! What a role model!
