Oh man.
The individuals behind the increasingly frequent – and increasingly frustrating – SWATTING pranks that have sent authorities rushing to the homes of various celebrities under false pretenses are now SERIOUSLY playing with fire!
Apparently, in response to California senator Ted Lieu‘s proposal for an “Anti-SWATTING” bill that would shut the individuals in question down by forcing them to pay the $10,000 price for police resources used in every prank, they chose to make his Torrance, California home the site of their next attack!
According to reports, law enforcement received a 911 call yesterday claiming that Lieu had shot his wife at the couple’s home, but upon arriving to the property, authorities discovered that he was out of time, his children were at school, and his wife was at home, sick!
Ugh! Poor thing!
However, Lieu now claims that this personal attack only makes him more determined to shut this thoughtless, costly team of pranksters down, and we don’t blame him!
We sincerely hope these folks seriously think about the potential repercussions of their actions before pulling a stunt like this again!
Enough is enough, guys!
