Very mature move, Seth!
Waaay back in December ’07, Katherine Heigl ran her mouth BIG TIME about the movie Knocked Up, despite the fact that she starred in it.
Here’s what she had to say about the movie at the time:
“It paints the women as shrews, as humorless and uptight, and it paints the men as lovable, goofy, fun-loving guys. It exaggerated the characters, and I had a hard time with it, on some days. I’m playing such a bitch; why is she being such a killjoy? Why is this how you’re portraying women? Ninety-eight percent of the time it was an amazing experience, but it was hard for me to love the movie.”
Both Seth Rogen and director Judd Apatow did NOT appreciate her comments…but it appears that Seth is finally ready to let it go!
Here’s what he had to say about it in a recent interview:
“I think that at the time I was offended about it, but since then├óΓé¼┬ª I mean, you do so much press that, odds are, you├óΓé¼Γäóre going to say something f*cking stupid every once in a while. Of the million things I say every day, 400 of them are stupid as hell [laughs]. And any one of them might wind up in a newspaper or a magazine at any given time. So at this point I├óΓé¼Γäóm much more forgiving of that kind of thing.”
We think it’s great that Seth is ready to move on…but we still think that Katherine should have chosen her words more carefully.
NEVER a good idea to diss UR own movie…isn’t that right, Harrison Ford???
