Seth Rogen is addressing the James Franco situation.
As we’ve been following for several years now, James faced several sexual misconduct allegations stemming from the 2010s — some of which from previous acting students. He denied the allegations, but two former students, in particular, led a class-action lawsuit accusing him of sexual harassment, exploitation, and coercion. And he settled in 2021 — for $2.2 million!
But he still maintains his innocence and has been trying to get his career back on track since — though his Hollywood star hasn’t been shining quite the same since, even when it comes to his ol’ Hollywood pals.

Last fall, James spoke to Variety about where he currently stands with his longtime friend and collaborator Seth, whom he met as teens on Freaks and Geeks. He made it clear that the Neighbors star wanted nothing to do with him. He told the outlet at the time:
“I haven’t talked to Seth. I love Seth, we had twenty great years together, but I guess it’s over, and not for lack of trying.”
Clearly, he wants fans to know the beef is one-sided… But can you really blame Seth? We mean, for a while there he defended his friend, but ultimately jumped ships and cut ties when he came to his senses. But ever since James’ comment, he’s been awfully quiet… That is until now.
During an interview with Esquire published on Tuesday, the 42-year-old responded to a question asking how it felt having to deal with such a personal decision in public. Maintaining his nonchalant demeanor, the Superbad actor dished:
“Honestly, I absorb so little media that it really wasn’t on my radar.”
Damn…
So, that’s how little he thinks about James! The dude isn’t even on his “radar”! Either that or he realllllly just didn’t want to talk about the situation and his dismissive answer was a tactful move. Our guess? Probably a mix of both!
