It was only a few months ago that Steven Seagal’s $1 million sexual harassment lawsuit from a former assistant was dropped, and now another harassment allegation has resurfaced, this time from Jenny McCarthy.
In a Movieline interview in 1998, McCarthy claimed that Seagal asked her to undress during an audition for Under Siege 2: Dark Territory. The interview was revisited on Access Hollywood last week during an investigative piece.
Here’s what a spokesperson for Seagal had to say about the allegation:
“Warner Brothers casting for the film ‘Under Siege 2’ has confirmed that Jenny McCarthy never auditioned for a role on ‘Under Siege 2.’ Her claim is completely false.”
Here’s the original allegation by McCarthy:
├óΓé¼┼ôI went to the audition for ├óΓé¼╦£Under Siege 2├óΓé¼Γäó with, like, 15 other Jenny McCarthys. These girls came in and out of his office and I was last. Steven comes out and goes, ├óΓé¼╦£Hmm, so you├óΓé¼Γäóre last.├óΓé¼Γäó I├óΓé¼Γäóm thinking, ├óΓé¼╦£Shouldn├óΓé¼Γäót a casting person be doing this?├óΓé¼Γäó I go inside his carpet, which has shag carpet and this huge couch, and he├óΓé¼Γäós by himself and says, ├óΓé¼╦£Sit on the couch.├óΓé¼Γäó I have my [script pages] and I say, ├óΓé¼╦£OK, I├óΓé¼Γäóm ready,├óΓé¼Γäó but he says, ├óΓé¼╦£No, I want to find out about you.├óΓé¼Γäó I knew what was coming. He goes, ├óΓé¼╦£So, you were Playmate of the Year.”
├óΓé¼┼ôI was wearing this very baggy dress, which I always wear to auditions, with my hair pulled back. I├óΓé¼Γäóm listening to him go on and on about how he found his soul in Asia and is one with himself and whatever. When I said, ├óΓé¼╦£Well, I├óΓé¼Γäóm ready to read,├óΓé¼Γäó he said, ├óΓé¼╦£Stand up, you have to be kind of sexy in the movie and in that dress, I can├óΓé¼Γäót tell.├óΓé¼Γäó I stand up and he goes, ├óΓé¼╦£Take off your dress.├óΓé¼Γäó I said, ├óΓé¼╦£What?├óΓé¼Γäó and he said, ├óΓé¼╦£There├óΓé¼Γäós nudity.├óΓé¼Γäó I said, ├óΓé¼╦£No, there├óΓé¼Γäós not, or I wouldn├óΓé¼Γäót be here right now.├óΓé¼Γäó He said again, ├óΓé¼╦£There├óΓé¼Γäós nudity,├óΓé¼Γäó and I said, ├óΓé¼╦£The pages are right in front of me. There├óΓé¼Γäós no nudity.├óΓé¼Γäó He goes, ├óΓé¼╦£Take off your dress.├óΓé¼Γäó I just started crying and said, ├óΓé¼╦£Rent my [Playboy] video, you a**hole!├óΓé¼Γäó and ran out to the car.”

Seagal’s spokesperson has denied these claims.
Given Steven’s track record of being accused of this type of thing, we’re inclined to believe Jenny.
Guess we’ll see if either party chooses to comment further.
