Sharon Osbourne revealed recently that she regrets leaving her position as judge on the X Factor, after being denied her request for an enormous pay raise!
She explains:
“It was stupid, At my age I should have known better. In hindsight, yes, I was too impulsive. It took me two years to really get over [quitting]. It is such an amazing show and I met some terrific people. Leaving that was an awfully big decision. But it has worked out well for everyone; for Cheryl [Cole], who was the one I wanted to replace me – she’s been a great asset; and for me, with what I do now in America. It’s much more glamorous now. They’ve really stepped it up.”
Well, we’re glad that you were able to come back and assist this season!
And who knows what will be in store for the judges panel once the US version starts up!
Maybe you’ll get another chance!
