Get your ears ready for some luscious melodies because She & Him plan to release a new album in October!
Classics will be the band’s fifth release since Zooey Deschanel and M.Ward became collaborators. Classics will feature 13 cover songs accompanied by a 20-piece orchestra, which we’re sure will be AH-mazing.
The band is no stranger to cover songs–the duo has paid homage to Smokey Robinson and The Beatles, to name a few.
Zooey said of the up-coming album:
“We are incredibly excited to release a record of our favorite songs. It was a dream of ours to record these songs in a way that highlighted the brilliance of the songwriting and the beauty of their melodies. We had a wonderful time making the record and we hope people have a wonderful time listening to it.”
