Faith in humanity the animal kingdom restored!
A video of a Shiba Inu trying to put water on a fish out of water is making its rounds on the internet, and its probably the cutest thing we’ve seen all day.
When a boatload of fresh fish are left on some concrete in just an inch of water, the dog starts flicking water onto the fish with its snout.
Many people are taking this act as a final attempt to save the fish… but science might be saying otherwise.
According to pet owners and canine experts alike, what the Shiba is probably doing is attempting to “bury” the fish to save for later as food. But since there’s no dirt near by on the hard floor, the water will just have to do.
We’re still going to hold out hope that the dog is really just trying to save his new fishy friends.
