Shrek — a.k.a. the Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, and Eddie Murphy franchise that has raked in nearly $3 billion — is getting a fifth installment!
While Dreamworks has yet to go public with their timetable, the company’s CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg has just reassured the world that the fiercely funny animated fairy tale will get at least one more sequel!
Sure, it’s been four years since Shrek Forever After stormed into theaters, but apparently that’s all part of their master plan!
Mr. Katzenberg confessed:

├óΓé¼┼ôWe like to let them have a little bit of time to rest… But I think you can be confident that we├óΓé¼Γäóll have another chapter in the Shrek series. We├óΓé¼Γäóre not finished, and more importantly, neither is he.├óΓé¼┬¥
