Everyone makes mistakes but not everyone is lucky enough to get a second chance.
Sienna Miller is hoping that the second chance she’s now being given will stick. Because her bad behavior from a few years ago almost cost her a Hollywood career.
We reported earlier this week about Jude Law’s testimony against The News of the World in their ongoing phone-hacking court case. The now defunct paper is standing trial for tapping into private phone calls, including the ones between Jude, Sienna, and James Bond actor Daniel Craig.
Sienna of course cheated on Jude with Daniel in what became a tabloid nightmare for the then young, up-and-coming actress. She recently shared how that time in her life affected her, spilling:
“I was really na├â┬»ve, I think. I was a young 21. Not green as grass ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ I was by no means an innocent ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ but I had faith in the goodness of everyone. I was very open. And that led me into all sorts of situations that backfired.├óΓé¼┬¥
It was another affair with married actor Balthazar Getty that again got Sienna splashed on the covers of magazines for all the wrong reasons. She opened up about her wrongdoings back then, both on and off the set, and explained how fortunate she feels to be back making films, saying:
“I sabotaged things. I burnt a lot of bridges. I never read a review or paid any mind to what anyone said. And that translated to how I behaved outside work. On set, I was first to arrive, last to leave, best friends with the crew, totally professional, no d*cking around. But when I wasn├óΓé¼Γäót at work, I wasn├óΓé¼Γäót behaving the way you should. I├óΓé¼Γäóm very lucky to have a second chance in that town.├óΓé¼┬¥
Now 32, Sienna is dating actor Tom Sturridge and is mother to her 1-year-old daughter Marlowe. She has three films coming down the pike too: a crime drama she co-stars in with Channing Tatum and Steve Carell, a Vince Vaughn comedy called Business Trip, and a gritty indie pic titled Mississippi Grind.
