Sigourney Weaver Believes Cameron Didn't Get Oscar Because He's Not Female

That’s quite the ballsy statement!

Avatar star Sigourney Weaver claims that the only reason James Cameron didn’t win the Oscar for Best Director was because he wasn’t a lady and the Academy wanted to make history by giving Kathryn Bigelow the grand prize!

Plus, Sigourney’s phrasing is just pure clASS!

“Jim didn’t have breasts, and I think that was the reason,” said Weaver. “He should have taken home that Oscar.”

And she’s not biased!

“In the past, ‘Avatar’ would have won because they [Oscar voters] loved to hand out awards to big productions, like ‘Ben-Hur.’ Today it’s fashionable to give the Oscar to a small movie that nobody saw,” she continued.

Lame.
