He doesn’t think they are “boring” or dull or any of the other nonsense floating around!
A UK tabloid ran a story this week that Simon Cowell had some really low opinions of Lady GaGa and Beyonce. Considering they’re the biggest acts on the planet right now, everyone got into a real tizzy about it, slamming Simon for saying such horrendous things about the ladies, like that they were “boring.”
But in truth, Simon has never said anything negative about either of these fine performers and probably never will, considering the praise he’s actually given them in the past. His rep reached out to us to offer this statement, saying:
“Its the complete opposite in fact. Simon is a massive fan of both and he always refers to them as amongst the artists he most admires. He thinks they are two of the most interesting, talented & relevant artists today”
That, we know to be a fact. Why, just in the past two weeks, Simon has given them nothing my love and respect in his interviews. He called Beyonce one of “the biggest star we├óΓé¼Γäóve seen in 20 years” and added that she’s a “different breed” of pop star, one that cane “dominate everything in entertainment.”
As for GaGa, Simon has always had a soft spot for her and even told the press:
“Lady GaGa has The X Factor. She’s smart had has real ambition … I think somebody like Lady Gaga defines exactly what we’re looking for. She’s both talented and interesting.She’s worked it all out for herself. You never get the feeling somebody is controlling her.”
And that, as they say, is that.
So stop harping on poor Simon! He gets enough of that from Paula! LOLz!
