Extra’s Terri Seymour had a sit down with ex-boyfriend Simon Cowell to discuss Susan Boyle‘s debut album.
So, just what did Cowell have to say about our SuBo?
Cowel claims, “She’s extraordinarily good on record…We’re not going to throw out some souvenir album of show tunes which everyone expected…We went through about 350 to 400 songs to choose from. She was blown away by some of the song choices…And she’s going to surprise a lot of people with this record…[It will be released] in the fall.”
And what about that “nervous breakdown” she had after coming in second place on Britain├óΓé¼Γäós Got Talent?
When asked if she would have reacted the same way if she won, Cowell reveals “I don’t know. I think it was all boiling up. You got to understand this lady had lived alone with a cat for years and years and years and she was really, literally, the most famous person on the planet.”
We’re not so sure a SuBo album is gonna do that well. Her genre of music is great for a variety show, but will she get much if any radio play????
