While there was speculation whether or not Simon Cowell would split his time between judging both the U.K. and American version of X Factor this fall, he’s announced he’ll only be appearing on the U.S. version!
Talent in the United Kingdom can breath a little easier knowing their performances won’t get completely ripped to shreds, however, singers in the states will still have to step their game up!
Simon isn’t just jumping ship either.
The shows creator will still have “an enormous presence backstage” on the U.K. hit and is also “talking about ways in which he can have an on-screen presence later in the series”.
We think America has definitely been missing his amusingly snarky critiquing ability and think American television audiences will be happy to see him back at the judges table.
So far, Cheryl Cole is the only other judge announced hinted to be joining Simon on the U.S. X Factor.
