Simon Cowell may have found a name for that upcoming baby of his!
In fact, he has one name in mind that he really, really wants to use and we bet you know what it is!
You’d be silly to not guess this one correctly! Have you figured it out yet??
Here’s what the soon-to-be father said about baby names:
“My number one choice is Simon because I like the name.”
We are NOT surprised to hear that Simon Cowell may name his son after his own! Anyway we think Simon is a great name, so we’d have no beef with the baby boy named that!
But hold on there! Simon Cowell may also name his child Eric after his late father. Especially since their birthdays will be so close to each other.
He said:
“His birthday is going to be very close to my dad’s birthday. [My dad would be] very proud [and] amazed [to have a grandson.]”
Simon also briefly mentioned that he won’t be reading any self help books to help him raise his child.
He will be doing it all on instinct!
Here’s what he said his parenting style will probably be:
“Be cool about it. You know, don’t worry about things too much. The way me and my brother were brought up, I mean, it was kind of relaxed. There were no self-help books or any of that crazy stuff.”
It sounds like as his son gets older, Simon hopes for him to take over the family’s VERY successful business!
He said:
“I want to teach him how to do my job as quickly as possible. I want to pass the reins over. I really would like the idea of teaching him how to run the business.”
Interesting. We can’t imagine Simon handing over the reins to his work anytime soon, but maybe in thirty years he’ll be ready!
Finally the the X Factor judge almost brought us to tears when he mentioned how he wants to take his son to Disneyland when he’s older!
Here’s what he said:
“I’m not brilliant with babies. I never know what to do. But [once he’s older] I think I’ll be a good dad in terms of advice. And then I’ll get to do all the things I want to do, like go to Disneyland or Universal Studios, teach him how to drive — I love all that.”
Aww! We LOVE it!!!
Hopefully we’ll be able to witness that sooner than later!
That would make our year!!!
