Oh man. Could you even imagine?!
There’s been a bit of a war of words between certain judges on the current reality singing competition, American Idol, The Voice, and X Factor, over which program is the most successful, and now, Simon Cowell has suggested via Twitter that the winners of each program should compete against ONE ANOTHER in a super finale!
He wrote:
“We have a few surprises to announce soon. This is getting interesting… Maybe the winner of @TheXFactorUSA this yr should compete with winner of The Voice & Idol in a super final. Just a thought. I’d be up for it.”
Actually, WE WOULD, too!
Unfortunately, Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe doesn’t seem too fond of the idea, and responded with:
“@simoncowell suggests the IDOL winner should take on the Voice and X-Factor winners. The problem is the Idol winner will be a star by then.”
Ouch! Kitty has claws!
And a little cocky, we’d say! It’s not like EVERY contestant has gone on to be super successful – and that show has had a pretty serious head start with all of the seasons it’s been on!
