We hope Simon Cowell thought long and hard about his next steps while on holiday in Barbados, because it sounds like he has a LOT to sort out!
The reality TV maven spoke at the Britain’s Got Talent season launch this past weekend and addressed some issues in regards to a possible UK return!
Simon, who’s currently a judge on the US version of X Factor, used to judge the UK version, as well. He then, of course, took time off from the British version to focus on launching the one in the States.
As for whether or not he’d return to the XF UK panel?
Cowell stated:
“It’s all to do with timing. It would be impossible to do the English show and the American show together. You’d just be knackered and it wouldn’t work.”
However, it’s hard to say how the UK version will do next season, as the ratings haven’t been too impressive in recent years!
There were talks of Cowell not being thrilled with judge Gary Barlow‘s performance this past season!
Not only that, but it seems like while Nicole Scherzinger made a great addition to the over the pond’s series, fellow judge, Tulisa lost credibility as a judge with her poor album sales!
Hmm… with Britney Spears and L.A. Reid‘s recent exits from the US show, we wonder if Simon would be ready to give the UK version a complete panel makeover, too!
